"Skullwell Predicts"

by

Mike Bates

My name is Mike Bates and I'm writing to tell you that I couldn't have made my stop-motion short without the Video Lunchbox. This may sound like a cheesy infomercial testimony, but it's true. I made the short, "Skullwell Predicts", (a tribute to Ed Wood and Criswell using dialogue from Ed Wood's "Plan 9"), with Adobe Premiere to capture and store the images, but not before I got the motion perfect with the Video LunchBox. It turned out great! It was filmed as a student project at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA. It now has a website complete with a Quicktime version of the short and a brief summary of the taping setup. So please check it out!
