Ottawa Bouncing Ball

Jamie Maxfield

This animation was created at the Ottawa International Festival in September of 2000. Ffestival attendees were invited to come up and try the newly introduced LunchBox Sync.

One particular piece we really liked was simply a bouncing ball, done with paper cut outs. Jamie walked up to the new LunchBox Sync, and created this in a few minutes on September 21, 2000.

The images were recorded onto the LunchBox Sync. Output was direct from the LunchBox to a 1/2 inch VHS tape. It was later transferred from tape to a PC, via a Dazzle Hollywood DV-Bridge.
